Hi!! I am so happy you found me. I am a self-taught artist, utterly obsessed with creating. Finding my way into this crazy art world shouldn’t surprise me because I have always loved creating! I love getting my hands full of paint and glue more than doing pretty much anything.
Do you have a creative outlet--if you don't, stick around. I would love to show you how important it is. Over the last 10 years, I've learned how essential utilizing a creative practice has been for my life. And I want to show you how making time for play and having fun while being creative is good for you and your soul! Letting go of any fear or expectations and getting to know yourself through a creative process will change your life.
There is an artist in everyone's heart, and it is calling to you. Your heart wants an outlet for inspiration--It will fill you with energy and joy. Suppose I can inspire you, whether with one of my original art pieces or to pick up a paintbrush and start creating yourself--that lights my heart on fire! Both get me crazy, like dancing in the kitchen—EXCITED!!!
Every human should stay connected to themselves in a creative way. Any creative way! Whether cooking, gardening, building, singing, crafting, or decorating (there are a thousand more ways), the important part is taking time for YOURSELF!
That is how I started this fantastic journey. I started art journaling after scrapbooking, which wasn't fulfilling to me any longer. My creativity and my spirit needed a SPARK! Art journaling became the center of what I wanted to do. Is this something you would like to try?
“The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.”

Live out loud
My art is a practice of self-love, something I believe women do not give themselves freely or regularly. Having a creative outlet allows you to grow and connect with yourself.
By being creative, you learn to hear your voice, trust your intuition, and, most importantly, learn to love yourself. And in the process, you will ignite your passions for life.
A creative practice (like painting) empowers you to live out loud, colorful,-unapologetically for yourself.
“My art is the place where I go to lose myself and find myself all at the same time.”
— Jennifer Loew {artist}
“I love your style, the textures, and use of subtle etchings”
— Jan & Mark {collector}
“There is something that can appear different each time I look at the art”
— Veronica {collector}
“I feel peaceful, happy, and energized all at the same time, as I look at your colors and design”
— Carol V. {collector}
Are you ready to dive in?
A little about me.
1. Fun fact
I call it my "former life" before moving to Washington State and taking on art full-time; I was a registered nurse. For many years, I worked my way from nursing assistant to a BSN Registered nurse running an Emergency Room and then switching to Oncology Infusion nursing.
And then, with some life changes, we lost my mother and mother-in-law to cancer, and my heart knew I didn't want to continue nursing. Life is too short to live uninspired! I feel 100% like I was created to create in every part of me!
2. Fun fact
Minnesota-born, and yes, winter is unbearable! Imagine tailgating at a football game (Vikings fan- always and forever), and your soda (which we call "pop" ) or beer, whatever is in your gloved hand, will freeze before you can drink it. Pinky swear!
Minnesotans have a unique language; we understand what "Uff-da," “oopsie-daisy,” or "hot dish," and the children's game is always called "duck, duck, grey duck."
3. Fun fact
My love language is:
✔️ coffee, books, and podcasts
✔️ fully functional ADD or “easily distracted.”
✔️ a small circle of friends, but I’m from a BIG family
✔️ 100% Aquarian (almost eerily)
✔️ cat people
✔️ bold red wine and a good martini
✔️ any baseball game, anywhere, anytime
✔️ tell me I am right or that I inspired you
✔️ my art is about the process, not the product
